AirlineCareer.com Launches Certificate of Achievement Program
HARVARD, MA (October 13, 2003) - AirlineCareer.com, the leader in online flight attendant career information today announced the launch of an exciting new interactive flight attendant school that will prepare individuals for flight attendant new-hire training. Through self-study and online testing, members can now earn a Certificate of Achievement from the most trusted name in flight attendant employment.
In development for over a year, the Certificate of Achievement Program includes a series of online self-study modules in the “Training Center.” After studying each module, members are tested on course material. Testing consists of multiple choice or fill-in-the-blank tests. After passing five consecutive tests on each module with a minimum passing grade of 90%, a Certificate of Achievement (bearing name and date of completion) will be available in PDF format for downloading. The personalized certificate will list all subjects covered, is suitable for framing and may be submitted with a resume or presented at airline interviews.
AirlineCareer.com President and veteran airline pilot Joseph Belotti says, "Since many airlines are now showing preference to applicants with some form of flight attendant training, an AirlineCareer.com Certificate of Achievement will be a definite asset to those who complete the program. It undoubtedly will separate our premium members from the competition."
The Training Center now includes many of the subjects members will need to learn at new-hire training and more will be added in the future.
The Training Center currently features:
- Airport codes tests for all ten major airlines.
- Tests on the 24-hour clock.
- Tests on adding and subtracting hours and minutes.
- Tests on Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Tests on First Aid (including CPR and AED procedures)
- PA announcement training.
An AirlineCareer.com Certificate of Achievement is a major breakthrough in online training for aspiring flight attendants. The program has been well-received and will help provide pre-qualified applicants to the airlines. Earning a Certificate of Achievement from AirlineCareer.com will allow airlines to recognize outstanding achievement of individuals completing the program and will virtually ensure successful completion of airline new-hire training.
